Hi Aaron and welcome...
Don't want to be the bearer of bad news.....But as for watching American football on T.V. here... Hmmm, I guess I'll be the one to break it to you..It's not a good scene for American Football. Take it from a die-hard fan. We have NASN (North American Sports Network) it doesn't cover that much pro-football and I think it's useless when it comes to pro-football. It's great with B-ball but not the "pro-iron grid".) I actually find that they cover more college football than anything during the football season.

If you want to see any pro-football I suggest you subscribe to satellite T.V. (SkyTV) There you will at least get to see two games every Sunday. But don't bank on seeing your favorite team more than once. You're lucky if you even see your fave team AT ALL!! Think about it there's a total of 16 games in the regular season (not including the Bye week each team gets) and there's 32 team!!! The equation just ain't gonna work...
Best way to at least listen to your fave team is to listen to them online. That's that I had to resort to last year.

Or get a friend to tape it for you and send it via FedEx. I also did that 'cause listening to it live week after week sometimes gave me more aggita and I just needed to watch my team (even though they suck) and always managed to lose in the last seconds of the game, it still gave me pleasure to sit down and watch it. Even the American commercials too (my homesickness is a habitual thing with me).
My advice ** have a friend tape it, then have them send it through their company via FedEx if they can fanaggle it and just watch it a couple of days late**. (You basically just have to keep yourself away from the results until you get your tape.)
Sports Cafe is pretty cool. Very smokey though. There's use to be a Babe's Ruth in my neck of the woods - East London but has since been demolished.
Good luck to you.
