Anyone have a 2007 and 2006 2555EZ that isn't read only?

It seems like once a new version comes out the others become read only (you can type into and save the 2008 one). I don't have a printer at home so I'm trying to type them all up and then print them all at once at a friend's house, but every version of 2007 I've found is read only....  Serves me right for not keeping on top of things I suppose.  Now I'm worried that the 1040s are going to be the same.
