NI # question
« on: October 07, 2009, 10:28:13 PM »
I had worked in the UK in 2004 with a student work permit. They gave me a National Insurance # and I had contributions taken out of my pay checks. I'm thinking about moving to the UK again. Is my NIN still valid? Or will I have to get a new one once there? I'll be on a ILE visa this time, so working shouldn't be a problem. Thanks!

It's still valid. You only ever get one NI number. Good luck with your move back!
