Where to buy Life insurance????

Hi there,
I am 51 and don't have a life insurance. I know, I know what your are saying
I am thinking to buy one now before I move to UK. Just wondering if it is better to buy here in Canada, or wait until I arrive to UK and by there one? Does anyone know how much approximately costs per month? Any idea?

When I moved I was told by my US life insurance company that my policy wouldn't cover me outside the US. So you may want to check that if you do purchase a policy in Canada if it will cover you if you move outside of Canada.
