Don't you love Google? I find out so many things just from their logo.

Something fun to help celebrate Sesame Street's 40th Birthday: http://www.hunch.com/which-muppet-am-i/?SEMref=google&kw=sesame%20street%20workshop&gclid=CJ2s4ZaA9p0CFQtM2godlBvoow

Here's the clip from their Emmy win in August with Sandra Oh presenting. I cried. :D

Sesame Street, the Electric Company, and Mr Rogers' Neighborhood - now THAT was childhood!! My neice called Sesame Street "Sunny Days" - the only words to the song that made an impression!

I took that quiz - I'm Rizzo the Rat! Not sure about that but I can work with it! ;D
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

It was definitely on in the 70s, I used to love it when I was a kid.

I just realised I'm older than Sesame Street! How scary is that?!

Mr Rogers' Neighborhood -

"Please won't you be my neighbor"

He was my all time favorite when I was young. I was really sad when he passed away.

I got Grover, who I had totally forgot about until I saw that.

Did you know that Mr Snuffleupagas has a first name: Aloysius. I had no idea.

They used to have Sesame Street here, but it never really caught on.  They have it in NI but it is called Sesame Tree.

Yea I like the way Google do that thing with the logo.

I just realised I'm older than Sesame Street! How scary is that?!
Very scary. What is scarier, given that I am much older than Sesame Street, is that I remember that show.

Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

I'm Oscar the Grouch, which hits closer to home than I'd like, I'm afraid.

The saddest thing for me, when my son started kindergarten, was that we couldn't watch Sesame Street together every morning any more.  It was our fun little daily ritual, and I miss it. :(

Josh and I watched all summer long.  Sometimes more then one a day. (We recorded them) He still asks to watch at least once a week! :(
