What's your fave holiday special (less than feature length)?   Nestor the Long Eared Christmas Donkey makes me cry every time!

I was just thinking about this one.  Only saw it once when little.  Can't remember the story-line, but the title always pops into my head around Xmas.

For years no one I knew remembered it - then I saw it in a Video and DVD shop and was practically jumping up and down screaming "I'm NOT crazy! Nestor DOES exist!!" LOL

(from IMDB)
Back in the days of the Roman Empire, a small donkey is born with VERY long ears, that keep getting him into trouble. When his owner throws him out of the stable in disgust, his mother sacrifices her life to save him from a blizzard. And, guided only by his guardian cherub (Tilly), he has to find his rightful place and destiny, somewhere on the road to Bethlehem. His destiny turns out to be the donkey who carries Mary to Bethlehem.

I love all the Rankin-Bass ones but Nestor has a special place in my heart.

Muppet Christmas Carol. I especially like the part where Beaker flips off Scrooge.
There are two things in life for which we are never truly prepared:  twins.
