Welcome...... I'm a bit of a lurker on this board, but I am hoping to become more active the closer I get to actually moving!   (FYI, I'll be moving to the London area within the next year or so....)

  3-- realize that most natives drink like fish and have a good time (though they tend not to frequent the Quarter as often as other places), so you don't have to say how crazy you are, chances are it's a normal Saturday night for the natives.

Sorry not to respond earlier, things have been busy and I haven't had much time to check in on the boards.  I will actually get back on Sep 19 (we fly out the 18th) and hopefully won't have much jetlag!  We're so looking forward to the trip and holidaytime.

I hope I enjoy England, ahlf as much as I do New Orleans.  Things will be fine if that happens.  Guys, I am getting all sappy about leaving New Orleans.  I even took a picture from my front door, so I can still look out it when I am in the Uk.  Where did this cheesy girl come from?
