Postcards
« on: November 22, 2009, 09:17:08 PM »
Very dumb question but where can I buy postcards? I'm in the Reigate, Surrey area and have looked in various establishments with no luck including the post office.

Thanks for any help ~

National Trust sites always seem to have them.

Card shops in my town have them. Sometimes the newsagents carry them.
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

Try your post office.  Also, is there a museum or historical site (National Trust or otherwise) at all near you?

Thanks for your responses --- I'm new to the area so not really certain about what's around.  My Sweetie knows of course but he drew a blank when it came to where to get postcards especially after we tried a few places without luck.  One being the post office nearby and a few card stores.  We'll try again with your suggestions -- thanks!

If you mean the blank white ones rather than picture postcards try WH Smiths.

Have you been up to Box Hill?  That is a National Trust site and I know you can get postcards there and its a beautiful view too!

Yes, that's the type with some sort of English village or what have you on the front -- thanks so much I'll check them out.

Exactly where we intended to walk --- right before it started letting loose with rain...thanks so much for the idea!
