Hello All,
I run a screenwriters group in Acton/Ealing. It's a pretty large group and we have about 30 or so people show up to our monthly meetings. The group is made up of writers and actors who write/act for stage and screen plays. We meet once a month to review scripts, read new works and get feedback on new screenplays etc. It's been a very successful group and it's a great deal of fun.
This next month we have a number of scripts (including my own) which require "American teens and adults" to act/read scripts. As an Expat myself I thought I would come back to this forum (were I got so much help when I first moved here) and ask if any adults/teens or young adults would be interested in joining us.
Our next meeting is December 7th, at 7pm at the Acton Trade Union Club and we're hoping I can interest a few people to show up and help out.
You DO NOT need to be a trained actor. You just have to be comfortable reading aloud a character part in a script.
So, If you or anyone you know might be interested please considering passing on my contact details djchamberlain - at - gmail.com
There is also a meet up group (meetup.com) called "Off the page" which you can find out more about us and join up there.
Thanks!
David
