Hi All,

Just thought I would provide everyone with an update. I went to the site today and the latest posting is as follows "As of Friday, July 23, 2004 we are currently processing I-130/I-360
petitions that were filed on or before May 18th, 2004".

Jules,

your timeline is running slow hun. Get your DS-230 and checklist out to the Embassy ASAP to prevent your application from being held up, if you havent sent them out already. If you have questions about doing this, just ask. Your doing yourself a disservice if you wait for your I-130 NOA to send in your DS-230 docs. Also get your police certificate and affidavit of support sorted out ASAP too. It'll hurry the whole process along.

If youve done all that already, please accept my appologies. Im just going off the timeline in your signature.

Best of luck and welcome to the repat club!

Thanks Sarah!

I have sent all docs in June...thanks for the reminder though because I needed to update my timeline on here.

BTW- good luck with your house....its terrific. The housing market down here in Reading is OTT....we couldn't find anything as nice as your house for under £220,000....one of the major reasons we are moving back because I don't want to be over mortgaged.  I was telling my husband about your house today....if it were closer to Reading you would have a buyer and perhaps we would stay in the UK!  The project that I am working on is over (mid fall, I hope...its been postponed two times now)....then we are heading back to the states!

Hiya Julie. Im so glad youve got all your docs in! Thanks for updating your timeline. I'll update the post "Stock Take" with your info. Fingers crossed for some good news soon.

Thanks for your wishes on my house. We love it to bits. One of the reasons we're going back is fiances too. We dont have much of a mortgage because we were lucky to buy JUST before the prices went through the roof. But we do have a lot of debt. We LOOOVE to shop but things here are so expensive. We're having a hard time living the life we want to live here so we're cashing in and giving the states a shot. The profit from the house will totally clear our debts and that'll feel REAAALY good, I tell ya.

Anyway, take care!!
