What should I use to clean the swine flu germs off the keyboard of a laptop?

I'm not sure if it will kill Swine flu germs...but I always put hand sanitizer on my hands...wait until it's almost dry...then rub it across the keyboard.  I'm sure you could put a bit on a cloth and actually "clean" the keyboard with it (it doesn't leave a sticky residue that needs to be rinsed either).  Kills 99.9% of germs so it might be worth a try.

You are better of periodically cleaning your hands. Unless you need to lick the keyboard! I have been issued with a small bottle of alcohol gel to keep on my desk and advised to use it on my hands after touching anything touched by other people such as phones, keyboards, door handles, lift ("elevator") buttons etc.

Good advice for work.  I've got an ill child at home who used her sister's laptop this morning and I wanted to 'clean' it off as I'm trying to contain this.

Thanks everybody.

Not really connected to germs, probably. But try turning your keyboard over and tapping it. You may be amazed at what comes out. Then do the wiping bit. Or blobbing.

This looks fun!

That does indeed. Nice little sales patter too....

You'll have a work station that's cleaner than the Jonas Brothers' naughtiest dreams - now that's very clean indeed.

What I thought was cool was the dashboard bit. That might be just thing for getting dust and crap out of the vents.

<note to self> Stocking fillers

Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.
