Long time reader first time poster:)
I just have a quick question regarding shipping to Manchester from Chicago- I am moving to Manchester either late Feb or early March. I was wondering if anyone has moved from Chi and moved all their household stuff? Also, what shipping company did you use, and how much did they charge you? Right now I am getting a quote from Rainier (which was recommended by a few people on this website) of $6700 for a 20 foot container, which I am finding to be too high. I cannot afford that. I was hoping to find a company that would do it for around $4000.
Help somebody, please help! I am getting desparate and scared that I may not afford to ship my stuff over. I cannot imagine starting over again buying new stuff....
