What's your favourite Quality Street?
« on: December 23, 2009, 08:07:02 PM »
Or other variety of chocolate in a variety pack?

I don't mind any of them except the hard one that breaks my teeth every year.  I am a bit partial to the maple ones though, which is good because it's the one everyone leaves in my husband's family.  That one and the hard one.

We have to get Quality Street because it's the only one my MiL can eat, so it's sort of a part of Christmas for me now.

I love the Toffee Penny (gold wrapper) and Toffee Deluxe (brown wrapper).  Yummy!! :) But to be honest other than the Strawberry one there are none I would turn away.  ;)

Mmm, I love the strawberry one!  That's the only one I really eat except for the caramel one occasionally.  We had about five tins of Quality Street in our staffroom the last few weeks before we closed for Christmas, plus my students brought two to class :P  I'm Quality Streeted out until next year.

The maple one probably isn't really maple.  I should probably look at the pack.  It just sort of tastes mapley to me.

The purple one is the best. No question. But I also really like the green triangle, the coconut eclair and the caramel swirl. The fruit ones are icky and usually wind up sitting in the tin all lonely for a few weeks before getting thrown away.

Lol.  I was wondering about that. :P  I couldn't find a maple one in their product list.  Though I did find the ingredients to the green triangle ("hazelnut noisette in milk chocolate") which is unexpectedly in the tightest race for my first place favorite with the toffee finger.

The only one I won't eat is the coconut, and I'll only eat the gooey fruit ones if I'm desperate.   ::)

I never used to like the coconut one, but I've found it's become one of my favourites in the past two years or so.

Hotel Chocolat is lovely! As is Melt! But those are real treats for very special occasions. Quality Street is just something you HAVE to have at Christmas!  ;D

The coconut is my favorite. The fruit ones are disgusting. [smiley=bleck.gif]
