Meatloaf

What gas mark and for how long would you guys recommend for cooking a standard sized meatloaf?

ETA: an online source shows gas mark 4 for 1 hour, but 1 hour seems a bit short to me.  plus most recipes seem to be using 1 lb mince and im using 2.

I don't know what a standard sized meatloaf is, but  the one I make which has 1 pound of minced beef, 2 oz breadcrumbs, 1 egg, half an onion, I used to cook for 1 hour in a preheated oven at gas mark 4. My new oven is Celsius and I have done it at 180 C and it was fine. This is around 350 degrees F in round numbers. Even if the loaf was a bit bigger, say a pound and a half, I would still give it an hour.

I was going to reply because I make meatloaf a lot, but I make small ones and I don't have a gas mark!  Useless!

But I think the higher the hotter.
