weird thing happened

I was walking our 2 greyhounds just a moment ago, one of them was on an extenable lead and was lagging behind, I noticed she was doing a poo, so I turned back around to pick it up, as I did so, I noticed a copper had stopped in the middle of the street staring at me, and when I picked it up, he drove away.

I know you can get fined for not picking up your dogs poo. But do the coppers actually do that??? I would've thought they had better things to do, and the wardens or whatever would be the ones to spot it and etc

Yes i thuink they, like dog wardens can iisue an on the spot fine. I see notices up all over the place now telling to to scoop the poop!

hm. i always seem to step in the poop in our neighbourhood. maybe i'm just unlucky!

cops are just as entitled as dog wardens or environmental health officers to issue penalties, i expect.

I'm glad you are picking up your dog poop! I wish all dog owners were that responsible. It's all over the parks and national trust lands around here. Gross.

Civilian: No that was here, he just pee'd on top, ya know marking his territory.
Cop: Well here is your ticket you can proof it later

Man, I wish they were around my neighborhood more often. I feel like I am doing the poop dodge everytime I walk to the tube.
