Introduction. Newish, excited, nervous, stressed!

Yeah! Congrats.  Just wanted to add my completely unasked for words. 

My mom and aunt are stuck here in London with me. They can't get home. They have now stayed a week longer than the were scheduled. I'm absolutely out of my tree now.  Started drinking at 9am.

And there is nothing here like Target. I still miss it. If they opened one up within a hundred miles I would make a pilgrimage just to see it again.

As for In-n-Out burger (and El Pollo Loco), well, I can't get that in Colorado sadly so we can't really blame England for that.

Hope things get better. If I could, I'd bring over a double double, and some of the new kitsch stuff they have at Target from, would you have guessed... LIBERTY.

There's an idea for our upcoming wedding. Have a UK marriage catered by In-n-Out. Man would that be epic! A boy can dream can't he?

Congratulations!  How are things going with the visa?  I have applied for my spousal visa (my husband is already in the UK) and am on edge as some of our paperwork was held up by the ash cloud, too.  I hope things are going smoothly for you.

We'll be living in London for now but my husband used to live near Bristol and really loved it--relatively friendly and laid-back.  Bath is beautiful and I can't wait to visit it again.

Just a quick update! Thanks to everyone here we are approved and ready to go.

I received the fiancee visa and I am flying back to the UK on Friday to be with my beloved!

I'm really excited, haven't missed England and him so much.

We are in the Bath area, so anyone in Wiltshire (or anywhere in the UK for that matter) please feel free to say hi. Our plan is to be moving to London in several months when everything calms down.
