Anyone watching it?
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I am! I'm in the US though and am slightly ahead (though I think you had your episode tonight?)

I'm watching it but the story line seems a bit flimsy and the acting seems a bit wooden. I wonder if the book is better? I also don't really like Joseph Fiennes, so that can't help, but Mr MLG wants to persist with it in hopes it improves.

I watched it a bit last fall, but agree with MLG that it seemed a bit...lacking.

This exactly.  I want to stop watching but BF insists that we should wait for improvement.  I think pigs will fly first.

The concept was great.  Too bad they drove it into the ground. My biggest complaint is the re-explanation of everything -- x1,000,000.  It makes the dialogue and acting so bad.  It is like they try to recap the complete story in every conversation.  Rinse and repeat.

And  I have zero sympathy for the characters.  Yes, Mark, your wife is going to get involved with another man because you are a whiny boy.  Yes, girlfriend of Demetri, you are a terrible harpy regardless of Demetri being slated to die.  Doctor guy - you have cancer.  Don't care.  Candy striper girl - someone is going to choke you and it can't happen soon enough. Etc.

Wow.  DH and I really enjoy this show.  I don't have a problem with the characters or the acting.  Different strokes, I guess :)

I have to agree about Fiennes. He's kind of annoying. And why can Charlie, um, I mean.. whatever his name is on FF, and the dude from Coupling keep their accents while Fiennes and Penny (or whatever her name is on here) have to use fake American ones? My bf is reading the book and he says it's much better. I'm hoping that next week's ep (which is supposed to be the FF date) will help move the story along. The 4 month break they took didn't help. I hardly know any characters' names.

Hopefully there aren't too many people attached to the show. :( Looks like ABC has cancelled it.

Yeah, they save 'V' but axe FF. ::) There's rumors that one of the other cable channels might pick it up now. ScyFy or something like that...
