Chipotle London

So..... Anyone know when the Chipotle opens in London?

Last I heard it will be the middle of May at 114-116 Charing Cross Road.  I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't EXACTLY the same though. I imagine they will make some changes to fit local palates.

Yeah, just walked by the hording last night on Charing Cross... right near where the old Borders store was. It didn't mention an opening date, but my husband got very excited at seeing it come to London.

There's a place that opened up just before Christmas in Canary Wharf called Tortilla which is exactly like Chipotle. There are a few more dotted around the city, but I would highly recommend! It has calmed my cravings, but is dangerously close to my house

I can confirm Chipotle has officially opened! I visited today and am pleased to say it tasted pretty much identical to the Chipotles in the US.

what were the prices like?  I saw a review saying that it estimated £15 per person!

I can confirm Chipotle has officially opened! I visited today and am pleased to say it tasted pretty much identical to the Chipotles in the US.

Sadly I doubt in London they will give out free burritos on Halloween for dressing up as one.

Most likely, but I remember feeling a wave of sadness when I called my friends to hear about their plans and they told they were doing Chipotle-Halloween back in the US. Wouldn't it be nice though if they did do it here too on Halloween?

Woohoo!  We're headed there tomorrow!     I did see a review that said it was way OTT on pricing, so I'm curious to see how bad it really is. 

Oh, please let us know when you find out about the pricing -- I'm really curious, and I've been telling everyone how cheap it is (oops).
