Wait a minute.....that contradicts itself! I meant she's never made a negative comment about any!  ;D

;D I'll have a look for those since I need to replenish my supply. Unfortunately the last jar I had was so big and heavy it broke the shelf in our little fridge.  >:(

I like the sweet gherkins they sell here!  (My BIL, who hates them, calls the little itty-bitty ones Martian weenies.)  Wish they were even sweeter though - like 'bread-n-butter' pickles in the US.  Maybe I'll have to learn to pickle...

My grandma used to make the sweetest, bright deep green pickles (using food colouring) that were very sweet!  Lol!

I wouldn't eat bread and butter ones in the States, they were way too sweet.  I'm going to learn to pickle too, only for the opposite reason lol

There are good fresh pickles at Panzer's in St John's wood.  They are cut into burger chips, but they are the closest you'll find to Claussen here in the UK.  Panzer's also has all-beef hot dogs, which are much better than the mush the pass off as hot dogs in the supermarkets.

I got the Krakus pickled dill pickles yesterday at Asda.  They only had the one with sugar.  They are ok, but definately won't go with peanut butter  :-\\\\

Where is St. John's Wood?

I just have to say that I absolutely love Burger King. I've just gone there for lunch and walked out with 2 coffee cups nearly full of pickles. They didn't even charge me for them!

We go to Partridge's in London when we're in there and stock up. They are kind of expensive, but we have wasted a lot of time and money anyway trying to find a good UK equivalent.

If you're far from London, I think Partridges has an online order service. £3.95 a bottle isn't too shabby:
