Cleveland to Manchester
« on: May 19, 2010, 07:48:07 PM »
I got accepted to the Uni of Manchester for grad school. I'll be studying archaeology. I applied to a few schools and never thought I'd get in. I'm really excited and nervous at the same time. I do have quite a few friends in the UK. This will be interesting.

Hi & welcome to UKY!   :)

I'm a native Clevelander now living in Sheffield (Uni of Sheff is supposed to have a great Arch programme).  On a side note, did you originally study Anthropology at CSU?

Yes I did goto CSU. I went to Manchester in 07 for 3wks, have friends there. It's a great city and I'm really excited. Recieved an email from them saying they need a scan of my passport, it's really official.

Thanks.
I have no idea what this will be like. The program is only 1 year. How many classes will have each term? I know teaching styles are different than here. This will be the hardest thing I've ever done, but I know I can do it.
