New Toolbar - how can I remove it?

Is it possible to remove that new toolbar at the bottom of the screen? I don't use Facebook or Twitter nor do I really care, and it's really distracting.

I know I can press the VV button to make it smaller, but it's still there in the corner of the screen and it's really distracting. It's difficult enough to browse the site on my iPhone without extra bits getting in the way of what I want to click.

Is it possible to turn it off entirely in my Profile or something? thanks!

This won't help with the iPhone, but if you use Firefox, AdBlock Plus disables the toolbar. (Also a bunch of other ads, which is awesome. You can tell it to not block ads for specific sites if you want to support them, too.)

Thank you!  I do have AdBlock Plus, but the little "flag" that usually shows up didn't for this one.  I am now free of the new toolbar.

Perhaps this should be made into a sticky.

I'm free of it now too, but for the word 'tools'.

What toolbar is this? I don't see any.

The add on made it disappear but it's back. ****ing insidious. 

Help. Is it facebook, youtube or twitter that creates this toolbar - it is making me nuts! I will delete all my accounts if this persists. Seriously.

I'm really confused now! 

If it is a UKY thing, I can't seem to physically drag it so it is on the top of my screen like everything else.
