introduction

just saying hi to everyone and introducing myself.  it's been a week since i got an email from the consulate stating they received my settlement visa application.  i'm an american very much wanting to join my husband in england asap. i'm trying to figure out how to spend my time until everything is processed.  anyway, i am really hoping this all goes quickly.  i wish much luck to everyone else going through this.

I surely hope for some good news soon. :)  I've felt very alone in this situation! Finding this site and reading other's stories is a bit comforting.
