Oh to be in England (UK) now that it is raining.

I see rain up north, today, in the Isle of Man, Inverness and the Orkneys. Wish I was there! You lucky sods! ;)

3 months to go of temperatures of over 100 degrees here. :(

It's not raining down here in Bristol :) - sunshine and 75 degrees here today... and it's currently 85 degrees and sunny in London!

I would love some rain here, too. I haven't left the apartment at all and likely won't today. It's toooooo hot here in GA. I miss the London summer I got to have last summer! I had to buy both a sweater/cardigan AND a jacket!! It was awesome.

Hot and sunny (around 75) here in West Yorkshire.  Not too bad as there is a nice, strong breeze blowing.  No rain though.  I never thought I'd actually be asking for rain in England.  Supposed to be records high in the next few days.  This is how much I'm looking forward to that = 0%.  If only being extremely hot could induce labour...

What?? It was hardly ever above 22-24* there last summer. The "heat wave" was 28* I think for like 4 days. (Though, I do know today it was 30*.) LOW humidity, breeze, rain every so often (once/week maybe??), some sun... It was perfect. I could even go running in the evening! And the day light lasting till nearly 10pm. Heaven!!!

They all lie  ;) ;D ;) it is cold, of course I am in the north of England and going through my first summer of not being in 80-100 degree weather.  I have been in jumpers all week, except just after working out.

The crowds and the traffic in very large cities make it feel hotter.

They had "heat advisories" on the radio today (for the next few days)...warning to make sure elderly and younger children were staying well-hydrated and out of the sun.

I love the announcements on the tube that "in this hot weather, it is advisable to carry a bottle of water". They don't actually mention drinking the water, though. ;)
