southernchic - Stuff off the walls - I LOVE magic erasers for that specific reason.

We had this discussion on the following thread

For borax and JML magic Erasers and praises were given to
"Just wanted to report back that the Method tub scrub is just as good and smells FAB!  At least now I don't have to load down my suitcase on our trip home next week Tongue"

I've not found Bon Ami which is what I usually used in the States.  Astonish is okay for scrubbing pans and their oven cleaner is nice (you can find this in the 99p shop if you have problems finding it elsewhere).  I've bought Bar Keeper's Friend here, but I don't know if it's the same as in the US.

If all else fails, baking soda works as well as a lot of scrubbing stuff.

And you know that stuff "Hob Brite"?  It works on more than hobs.  I've not used it on stuff like the inside of pans (I don't know if it leaves a toxic residue), but I've cleaned hob covers which have been burnt and the bottoms of pans with it.  The last time I cleaned my oven, I gave in and squirted some of the Hob Brite on the burnt on stuff, and it worked great.

ETA: Not that I would use Hob Brite on the wall, but it was worth mentioning for other uses. ;)

We use to use VIM. Is it still available in the shops?
