Don't email WorldBridge, they're useless.

Use the complaints email for your assigned consulate, address it to the Entry Clearance Manager be polite, provide your VAF application number, passport number etc and give the information about when you received your confirmation email and how many BUSINESS days have passed since. You should hear something then.

For the appropriate email you can consult this thread: http://talk.uk-yankee.com/index.php?topic=57518.0

Thanks WebyJ for the info  :)

Today is my lucky day  ;D  ;D  ;D

I received my visa today at 12:30pm!!!!! I am super happy! I think I may have waited the longest out of everyone on here. I had a previous refusal and was granted my settlement visa for an unmarried partner after 47 days of processing from the NY consulate!!!! Keep your hopes up even if you wait longer than 45 days!

Thank you everyone for your support. A huge wait has been lifted off my shoulders  :D

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yyyyyayyyyyyy!!! I'm SOOOO thrilled for you, Nickiboo!!!!!!! Lucky week for everyone!!!

My package arrived yesterday (signed for by "BLYTH" in the mailroom)... but I still haven't received an email.  I recall seeing people say these emails are hit or miss... but does this mean that my 15 days of priority processing has not started yet?  I better think to rebook my flight; i'm a dummy and booked it for the 28th...

Don't email WorldBridge, they're useless.

In the beginning of my personal experience with WorldBridge, I would agree. But in the end, I have to say that WorldBridge pulled through for me. I corresponded with the Consulate twice directly and found them to be more useless. It was an email with WorldBridge that finally addressed my circumstances in a professional and considerate manner.

Unfortunately, I think realistically it might boil down to who opens your email that day and if they had their coffee that morning or not... just saying.  ::)

How did you get through to them, EmmeJaye?  In the email they sent me they clearly stated:

As noted in the WorldBridge website, we cannot provide status updates on individual cases which have already been submitted to a UK visa-issuing Consulate or Embassy.

Did you just keep trying?

Pretty much! As I'm sure you noticed, when WorldBridge responds to you, there is an automaticallly assigned case number. I sent a new inquiry referencing my previous case number and complained that their generic response did not address any of my questions. With priority applications being estimated at 15 days, I'd say you have grounds for an email or two! ;)

I love how when you agree to purchase priority, there is a disclaimer on there that pretty much says "you will not receive your money event in the extraordinary case when your visa is not processed within 15 days".  I'm so scared right now.  This is day two for me though so whatever.

Thanks EmmeJaye.  I've just sent another email.  Fingers crossed that between the Consulate and Worldbridge I'll hear something.  The consulate directs any inquiries to Worldbridge (in the email they send telling us our visas have begun processing), and Worldbridge says they can't do anything once a visa begins processing.  Hmmmm.

And Ajanjig ... fingers are crossed for you!  It can be very nervewracking for sure.  There are a ton of us here who empathize with how you are feeling  :)

Today is working day 69 with the LA office. We started processing on the 29th of June.

Oh, man!  Have you had any communication from them at all?  And with a lawyer, too.

We're at 51 business days and it's already frustrating.  Grrr!  I hope you hear something soon (and us, too, of course!).

I didn't know about the complaint email addresses.  Maybe I'll try that.

I feel like I've been ungrateful, you guys who have been waiting for ages really deserve a pat on the back. That must have been a dreadfully long wait.

I'm so nervous though, I get physically panicked waiting for this. They literally have people's lives in a mail pile. :(

oh, are you waiting on LA...we're at day 40 and tearing our hair out...john has had a job offer in the palm of his hand(a friend came out of the blue and offered it last week) but it can't wait for him, we emailed the complaints button on monday and had no reply so the job may well go....

Yes, we're waiting on LA.  We haven't tried the complaints but did email Worldbridge a couple of times but nothing useful has come of it.  Meanwhile we've gotten rid of most of our stuff, packed up the rest and come to stay with my parents for a visit (we lived in WA) before leaving the country...still no visa.  We thought they'd at least consider our travel date (Oct 5th).  We applied in good time according to what we'd read.

Great that your husband has a job offer but SO frustrating to be hearing nothing!  I have some connections (not offers) that I worry will go cold if we don't get over there soon.

I hope they don't keep us all waiting much longer!  There's another poster that is at 69 days already from LA.

Good luck to you!
