Wanted: Life in the UK book
« on: August 02, 2010, 05:15:55 PM »
Hi all,
I'm now a year away from ILR/PR (whatever it will end up being by that point) and I'm thinking about getting my Life in the UK test out of the way in the next few months. Do any of the people who have already passed have a spare book lying around they could part with? I'm happy to Paypal for postage costs and promise to pass it on to someone else when I'm finished with it as well to keep the good karma going :) Cheers!
Arrived as student 9/2003; Renewed student visa 9/2006; Applied for HSMP approval 1/2008; HSMP approved 3/2008; Tier 1 General FLR received 4/2008; FLR(M) Unmarried partner approved (in-person) 27/8/2009; ILR granted at in-person PEO appointment 1/8/2011; Applied for citizenship at Edinburgh NCS 31/10/2011; Citizenship approval received 4/2/2012

I'm sure I have seen them in the library before. Maybe try your local one:

Good luck!

Definitely check your library.  Some even run a class for the "citizenship test".
