I made it!
« on: August 08, 2010, 01:51:36 PM »
I made it safely back to Scotland and spent a day puttering around unpacking various things (I don't really have anywhere to put things so it was mostly an exercise in pulling things out of boxes, looking at them, and putting them back).

The rosebush exploded while I was gone so my BF and I spent an hour outside in the sunshine hacking it back and cutting off all the dead flowers/rose hips.

Did I mention it's sunny? It's only about 20 degrees (it was in the upper 30s at my parents place most of the summer) but it's gloriously sunny and if I have to take the blame for when it snows then I certainly get credit for the sunshine  ;D

I've been (mostly) sleeping through the night and staying awake during the day.

Best of all, my BF and I are not 8 hours and several thousand miles apart.

*happy dance*

Welcome back!  :)
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

You'll be a mile or two from me!   :) Good luck with your move!
