Body Piercings
« on: August 12, 2010, 04:13:45 PM »
I now work as a full time body piercer in my partners tattoo shop.
If any of you are in or will visit Clacton on Sea, and want a body piercing, send me a message and I will book you in.
UKYers will get a 10% discount off the piercing.

My other half also does amazing tattoos, so if anyone fancys getting some new ink done, get in touch. Unfortantley the 10% discount doesnt apply to tattoos.

Ink, just wondering what qualifications are needed in your profession and what organisational bodies to look for in the UK re: piercing / tattoo professionals?

TIA!  :)

apprentancing is not required, but you definitley need some for any one to take you seriously in this industry. if you have no training or no knowledge you wont get anywhere.
there is no certification like the states has,its more about expierance here in the uk.
you also have to be knowledgable in health and safety and also steralisation and hazardous waste knowledge for the council to approve you to do it
