I'm hopeful...
« on: September 06, 2010, 12:29:30 PM »
A thread for things you hope for.  May be one already, so if there is I apologise.

I'm hopeful that I'm allowed to take undergrad acting courses as a grad student so that I can do as much work on my craft I can.

I am hopeful that all the hurdles I have had to jump through, and all the bad luck I've had to endure will work out in my favor soon.  ... And also that my baby will not share his fathers giant head- cause then I'm screwed..  ;)
We stole countries with the cunning use of flags. Just sail around the world and stick a flag in. "I claim India for Britain!" They're going "You can't claim us, we live here! Five hundred million of us!" "Do you have a flag …? "What? We don't need a flag, this is our home, you bastards" "No flag, No Country, You can't have one! Those are the rules... that I just made up!...and I'm backing it up with this gun, that was lent to me from the National Rifle Association."

I am hopefully that the part time job hubby's been offered actually makes some money.  For that matter, I'm hopeful that all the quotes we've done for the business also happen cause that would be a nice bonus.

I am hopeful that an amazing chance that just came my way will actually happen. (Part time job, on top of my other job, but would be AMAZING)

I am hopeful that UKBA won't ruin all of my plans in the 11th hour.  Hopeful but not entirely confident.  :-\\\\

I'm hopeful that my visa is approved soon and I can join my husband in our new home and we are able to settle happily. We were in such a happy place here in the US until the layoffs, and knew when we decided he should apply for UK jobs as well that this was going to be one long, stressful summer. We're almost there and I'd really like to get back to that happy place together.

I'm hopeful that DH and I will finally find a suitable, decent place to live. With rent rates that we can afford, neighbours that aren't too much trouble, and a place to park the car. Oh and central heating, double glazing and mixer taps, and a back garden or patio, and a washer and tumble dryer. One would think that this wouldn't be too much to ask for!

I'm hopeful (trying really really hard!) that I will find a good job in West London with great vets to mentor me in the first year of my career...before our lease is up here in Cambridge at the end of October...

Also hopeful that after the first two things happen, we will find a nice homey place to live that will take our cats.

My overall *very* hopeful wish is that we will be happy, fulfilled in our jobs with minimal commutes - providing the time to appreciate each other every evening.

Oh, and that I can spare some time this fall to join the London University of Florida Alumnus group and watch some Gator Football :-D

Its probably all too much to ask...but I am anyway!

... that I will get the job I interviewed for today, it sounds like a pretty ideal job for me, it's slightly more money than I was making, and it's not too far away (plus the commute means a reason to drive more often to get more experience and listening to music in the car!)  :)
