Wow, such gorgeous photos Chary and Phatbeetle! Love them!

Yeah, I still haven't had time.  [smiley=curtain.gif] I'm starting to get a bit more energy back now that I am getting in a groove at work. Soon I will start working toward this. I do still want to start shooting again!  :-\\\\ I had the perfect one for Gap, too! That was a two weeks ago!  :o Hopefully I can catch up with this soon!  :D

My 'corner' photos were all taken on a sunny but brisk day in town:

It looks as if the BBC camera club thingy is wrapping up, so no more themes from them.  :(  At least not this week, at any rate.

The Guardian has an online camera club, but they only have monthly themes. I rather like having a weekly assignment.

This website also has some interesting photo challenges listed, though they don't seem to work on a weekly schedule either.

Then there are weekly themes over at The Globe & Mail from Toronto. The current theme is to take photos of "what's out your door."

Of course, we could always choose our themes ourselves. Although I sort of like handing the decision-making off to someone else. It makes it more of a surprise to find out what I'm supposed to be snapping each week!

Any thoughts from my fellow shutterbugs?

Nice ones- I love the rounded building!  :)

Corners (edges of buildings, straight lines, curves, etc) are one of my favourite things to photograph- so although none of these are actually from this week (disclaimer) - I thought I'd share a few of mine (if the theme had been Thanksgiving, I would have been all over that, hahaha- :) )

I also like weekly themes and its nice to have someone else to choose for us- of course we can mix it up when we feel like it  :)

I like the second one best! That's really great!

Thanks! That's Tate St. Ives. I was just lucky it was sunny on Saturday - it doesn't look as dramatic against a grey/white sky.

Wow, Chary those pics are gorgeous! I love how photos of the beaches in UK make them look deceptively warm.  ;)

Nice ones, PB!!! I really like the second one, too. Nice perspective.  :)

Since I have taken more photo classes than I care to remember, I could try coming up with some weekly themes for you guys (since I haven't had much time to actually shoot, at least I would feel more involved!) What do you think?

What do I think? I think you're officially our new theme-picker!

Please pick this week's! I like to have something to think about!

Great! Ok, ladies... your theme for this week is.... (drumroll please, PB...  ;))

Light and Shadow!

How does that sound?  :)

I will write myself a note to remember to post the theme on Mondays.  ;)
