You didn't attend a private school in Texas, did you? ;)

There was a student called Katie (Katy, actually) Massey at a school I used to teach at. Weird.

Welcome to UKY! I'm from the Akron area. Always good to see another Ohioan coming over!  :)

Seems most of the Ohioans are from the Cleveland area. Follow the 77 south a little past Akron and you are in my hometown of Canton. I just moved here in September on a spousal visa. The various posts on this board definitely helped me to figure out the process of getting the visa and shipping the dog. I am sure you will find a lot of good answers here.

I know where Canton is! I'm in between Cleveland and Canton. Youngstown area. Yeah it has helped me out a lot already! So you moved here then instead of going the other way?

Seems to be lots of people from Ohio  :) My father used to live in Aurora  I spent so much time there. My fiancee is from PA so I'm no longer allowed to wear a Browns t-shirt  ;D I still wear my Indians T-shirt though lol

Good luck with your plans  :)

Don't worry about the bank statements if he has a secure job and a mortgage (which gives you somewhere to live) it won't be a problem.

My wife and I got Married almost 8 years ago in the UK and then lived in the US until this past September. We decided to move back (well back for my wife) about 2 years ago. The visa process doesn't seem to bad now that it is done. When we were applying we were worrying a lot about the bank statements as well. We had a small amount in savings and 401k, but not much. Didn't seem to be a problem. Sure was a bit of a worry while we were waiting though.

:) Hello, yet another Ohio lady making a move to the UK here.  Never realized how many are from Ohio going to the UK.  I'm from the Cleveland area as well, I live about an hour South of there in a small town called Norwalk. I'll be making my move over in the early Spring 2011.

Welcome to UKY.  You'll love it!  Yes, there are a number of Ohioans here - I moved here six months ago from Fairview Park - just next door to the westside of Cleveland.
