Paper for Embassy Appt
« on: November 02, 2010, 09:12:10 PM »
When I made the appointment to register DS birth and get passport, there was a page that said make sure you print this and bring it to the appointment with you.  I copied all the information from the page (user password and such) but my computer crashed before it printed.  What do I do now?  There is no email confirmation or anywhere else (that I can tell) where I can get the info to print it.  Should I give them a call about it or just show up?

I remember this page. We printed it and had it, but I don't remember anyone asking to see it or anything at the Embassy. When we arrived, they asked our last name and checked on a clipboard and let us in. Then we waited until they called us up to the window and turned in all our paperwork there. No one ever asked for the reference number or anything.

Based on my experience, I'd say you'd be fine. But better safe than sorry--you might want to call and check.

Thanks.  My phone experience with the Embassy hasn't been the greatest but I figured I'd give them a call anyway.  Just my luck to get there and get turned away because of it.
