We're having spaghetti with whole wheat pasta. The sauce is from a jar, but I will add more garlic, spices, mince and mushrooms to it. We'll have garlic bread with it.

I miss the jars of Ragu spahetti sauce that you could get with the extra mushrooms in it mmm mmm drool!! ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] TamaMoo do you like the whole wheat pasta?

Not sure its fend for yourself night. ???  ::)

Grilled chicken with boiled potatoes and veg.  Though, I kind of want to roast those potatoes so I might.  :)

We're both mushroom addicts so I'd buy the sauce with extra mushrooms and add more to it too.  ;D We're both sold on the whole wheat pasta now. I can't believe I didn't try it years ago.

It's one thing I can't get into. It's so firm and chewy and has the weirdest texture - it's like it sticks to my teeth or something. Gross.  [smiley=bleck.gif]

Tonight is a Tex-Mex night... tacos, homemade salsa and guacamole, refried black beans and tortillas. Can't wait!

The texture is definitely different, but I am okay with it. I know where you are coming from because there are a lot of foods I can't eat because of texture even though I like the taste.

Tonight we are having pies and baked potatoes. Hubby is having marrowfat peas with his and I am having breaded tomatoes.

Jacket Potatoes and Salad

I might suggest this to DH (we'll put ratatouille on top), but I'm pretty sure he'll veto it, so no idea what we'll have.  ::)

Since I found some mini tortillas at Morrisons, I used those and the refried beans to make double decker tacos a la Taco Bell. Heaven!

I asked Dh if noticed a different texture in whole wheat pasta compared to white pasta he said there is a difference but I cant tell myself we have had it that long. we both prefer whole wheat pasta we both think it has more flavor to it than white pasta does to each there own!! ;)  :)

Whole wheat pasta definitely has more flavor, and I stay full longer with it. Plus, I have less heartburn with it. I have horrid acid reflux problems, and if I can avoid white bread I do a lot better, but I just couldn't give up pasta so I suffered, but with the whole wheat I am okay. Bonus all around!  ;D

The taste difference & the staying full longer is the 2 main reasons why we like it soo much more than white pasta. ;)  :)

TamaMoo have you ever tried the LO GI diet? if you have acid reflux problems this might help you out mind you I'm no expert. ;) :)  Dh & I have been doing the LO GI diet for a long time an it really seems to help me out weight wise. ;)  :)

I'm having chicken & mushroom noodles its a fresh meal from ASDA it has really low sugar & the fat isn't so bad either. ;)  :)  Dh is having a fend for yourself night tonight.

Turkey meatloaf that DW made on Sunday. We are getting in at widely different times this evening so easy to warm up.
I'll have with mashed potatoes and peas......DW probably with salad.

Tonight we're having beef stew loaded with lots of veggies. We seem to be back to fall today, so something warm and hearty is what we need.

I haven't tried it, but it is worth checking into if it will clear up the problem.  :) I study up on it today or tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.
