Home made scalloped potatoes with sauteed leek and green pepper. We are making it the meal instead of just a side.

Sorta Veggie-ish Chili, made with chili beans, tomatoes, zucchini, green bell pepper, jalapenos, mystery peppers that are about the same heat as jalapenos, and chili powder.

I should have labelled the Ziplocs with what kind of peppers are in each one, since we were given about 18 different kinds, from mild to Ghost and Butch Trinidad Scorpions. Sometimes we are surprised by hotter than expected, or not hot at all when we cook,

I always drool when reading about your meals.

New England Clam Chowder, so perfect and cozy on a rainy Halloween night.

So hungry, waiting for hubby to get home from the gym!  I've made Ful Cobi (cauliflower, carrot, and pea curry) and a Daal Sauce (like a gravy) to go with it, plus there are some bhajis and samosas.   Hungry!

That sounds amazing! I miss curry.. It's rare here. Only Indian/Middle Eastern eat in places do it.. No ordering it online and having it delivered to your door :(

I make different curries / Indian food a lot--not hard to do and so much cheaper / healthier than takeaways anyway!

I had a huge lunch out with the family where I ate way too much, so I just had some Snyder's hard pretzels (they're the best!) dipped in some cream cheese.
