Leftover veggie pizza, bread sticks, pasta and hot wings from Pizza Hut last night. Went out spur of the moment with a friend and ordered a feast.

Gorged myself silly on venison sausages, mashed turnip, caramelised onion gravy, roasted beetroot, and savoy cabbage - all homegrown veg which was too good to stop eating....

Our standard pork roast that I make about every other week  :P, baked potatoes (I didn't think DH liked them, but he informed me the other week that he does), and green bean casserole (it's not just for Thanksgiving)!

Jambalaya. I cheated this time and used a box mix, but added meat and peppers. It isn't quite as good as homemade, but worked for something quick.

I made a huge vat of lentil veg soup last night and baked sourdough bread (and had an interview that went well!  A productive and tasty day!  8) ).

Leftovers today!  nom nom nom
(second interview tomorrow!)

Last night was garlic roast pork loin and ratatouille - which was gorgeous - made from the last of my summer glut of homegrown courgettes and patty pan squashes- plus homegrown Aubergine- Hungarian red sweet peppers, basil and tomatoes. I have never been a fan of aubergines, but homegrown is a whole different level for me- such flavour!

Tonight is a Chinese prawn curry, rice, and tons of allotment veg again- cauliflowers, Savoy cabbage, onions, Aubergine, chillies, pak choi, mustard greens, and chard

Leftover Chilean aubergine and chick pea stew from the freezer.  I needed to make it stretch so I added sweet red and yellow peppers and some veggie sausages.  Hubby added chicken to his.

Beef and mushrooms sauted in olive oil, butter, thyme and garlic, over a bed of Basmati rice.

Made a gorgeous spaghetti aglio e olio last night, but I bulked it out with adding homegrown onions, romenesco cauliflower and savoy cabbage. I have leftovers for lunch  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif], can't wait!

Hubby's birthday meal in tonight! (We had a fancy meal out on Saturday, special event at a local restaurant, so staying in this evening.)

(Tortilla) Chips and salsa. Pork carnitas - I made in the slow cooker two days ago so the flavours had time to develop. Frijoles borrachos - made in the slow cooker yesterday, for the same reason. Those two things (pork & frijoles) to have with flour tortillas, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, etc. Beer & cider. Plus we still have a couple of his birthday cupcakes (first batch) left, that I made last weekend. I'm making him some more cupcakes in the next day or so.  ;D

Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

Veggie burgers. We seem to have a new obsession with them.
