Stuff that goes missing off my desk after night shift. So far, ---
a bottle of hand cream ...

ALARM BELLS ARE GOING OFF.  Someone on the night shift is up to no good.

DH started playing chess at work over lunch once a week and they didn't have a proper chess board (they were using an app). I frequent the charity shops and found a nice folding one for £4. Wooden and everything. A few nicks, but good quality for a charity shop. I even sewed a little bag for the pieces so they wouldn't go missing

About a month later it's disappeared. One of DH's chess buddies tried to shame the their by reminding them the chess board was DH's (he's a really nice guy and well-oiled in the office) and I sewed the bag. It's not shown up and unless it's just been misplaced or 'borrowed', I doubt we'll see it again.

People are so annoying.

I used to work for place where we had a night shift, not just cleaners but actual employees who worked all night.  A woman I worked with noticed odd things about her desk, like somebody had been using her computer at night.   She looked around and discovered a new folder created by one of the night time workers, with subfolders.  One subfolder full of porn, the other with various drafts of his CV and cover letters.

We decided to play a prank, and made up a fake email from the FBI listing the sites he visited and detailing the investigation and telling him to report to the US Embassy at a certain time for questioning.  We also said in the letter that other people would be called in for questioning, and listed some of his old professors and former employers he had listed as references.

We actually sent the email, but then a few minutes later we started to worry that the guy might kill himself or do something crazy so we sent him another one saying it was just a joke.  At least he stayed out of our office after that.

...  tonight I was way more klutzy than usual. :( I tripped over a cord 3x, trying to power a fan with too short of a cord (but it had a high pitched whine that I couldn't tolerate). Then when going to take pain meds because a rib has decided it doesn't want to stay in the right spot (muscle spasm in shoulder blade = ribs out of place) I managed to drop an entire glass of ice water on and down my side of the bed, narrowly missing electronics on the way down. Now my husband is annoyed, so I'm hiding downstairs while he sleeps because that was far too much excitement (and stress) for me to fall asleep straight away. I suppose it works out because it's cooler down here. *sigh*

A MILLION TIMES THIS!!!!!

And the A/C hasn't been switched on.  Thankfully I suspected that may be the case and am wearing a summer dress.  I predict they will freeze us out by this afternoon though to over compensate....  ::)

Was SO good! haha I could've stayed in Scotland much longer and it wasn't as wild as I was afraid it would be :) All the guys I hadn't met prior were so nice as well and I'm excited to see them all again at the wedding.

Looked like you guys had a blast at Cinco De Mayo!

Excellent.

Yes, was perfect weather for a good day.  Several new people which is always nice.  Tons of food.  All excellent!  4 year old was upset when we left.  LOL!  Hardly any kids there.  Just mine, the hosts, and one other baby.

Was the other baby the new person's who just moved here last week? :) If so, I'm glad she went and got to meet everyone!

I gave my husband an Apple watch as his "No Push Present" when he got his vasectomy.  He shattered it this weekend and it no longer works.  That lasted five months....   ::)
