UK Yankee Bloggers?
« on: December 29, 2010, 05:05:37 PM »
Season's Greetings!

One of the many things I enjoy about this forum is reading about the personal experiences of Americans living in the UK. I always follow the links to personal websites/blogs whenever one is published in a post and I'm wondering if anyone could recommend blogs written by Americans in the UK? (I've found one or two from a google search, but it seems a lot of blogs do not appear in the search engines). I've also found a few from reading this forum, but there must be others I'm missing. Thank you!

I have my personal blog that is in my signature.  It's mostly to keep my family and friends in the states up to date on what I'm doing.  Not sure if that's what you're looking for or not :)

Same - I blog for my family and friends back home, but it may be boring for anyone else.  You are welcome to check it out - it's in my signature.

Not boring at all! Actually, I already have your site/blog bookmarked.  :) The winter photos are terrific! Scenes from Cornwall -- absolutely beautiful!

Thank you for sharing. Much appreciated!

I'm so excited someone other than my mom and MIL reads my blog.  Yay!javascript:void(0);

I have a blog (see my sig), but it's not really ex-pat-ish. Once in a while I talk about places I've been, though - mostly either in Cornwall or Pembrokeshire.

I started a blog for my friends and family back home while I was pregnant.  Now I blog about all sorts...being an American in the UK, what my 5-month-old and 6.5-year-old kids are up to, thought on parenting, weight loss, food, photography, what book I'm reading, crafts I've made...and all kinds of other randomness.

I'm glad I created this new topic. I have loads of great blogs to read now! Bmore_2_UK - Thank you for the link to the expat blog site. I followed the link and it didn't seem active, so I googled and found this, which must be the one you recommend... (hyphen in the address http://www.expat-blog.com/) You're right, lots of blogs listed. Thanks! I have your blog in my "favorites" now, too!  :)

Chary, Your blog is another one I've been reading. I adore all the "lovely things" you write about!
