Tassimo T-Discs
« on: January 06, 2011, 12:11:37 PM »
I got a lovely new Tassimo machine for the holidays this year.  I absolutely love it.  I have found, of course, though that naturally the t-discs come in a bit dear (cheapest are the 16 packs for around £3.29 which is around £0.21 per drink).  It's not the end of the world as I usually just use it on the weekend so the discs last (just have my coffee at work during the week).

Has anyone found a place to get a good deal on bulk buying t-discs?  I've thus far searched the intertubes and not really come up with anything beyond the .21 per drink, especially some sellers on ebay are charing normal prices, then £6 for shipping.

Went to Costco this weekend and despite them selling Tassimo machines, and they actualyl sell Dolce Guso pods, they don't carry T-discs.

Anyone know of a good supplier?

I have a Tassimo and its AWESOME!! But really, I only use the Starbucks blend, and I buy them at Asda, where they cost £1.86 for 8 discs. I haven't really shopped around for them, but a few years ago when I first got it, I did place an order online with Tassimo in their shop, but I didn't find them cheap to be honest. If you register your machine, sometimes you get free samples and coupons in the post. Enjoy!

Sadly I didn't see the discs on their website today.  I buy ours at the grocery, but it would be nice to find a cheaper place.

That's not a bad price at all.  When i registered my machine i got a voucher worth £20 for the Tassimo shop.  That sorted me for a while, I'm well stocked.  Oh well, shame we cant find a cheaper place...

I don't actually find them expensive at all, not for the quality. I compare them to what I was spending at Starbucks everyday, so 20p whatever for a disc trumps £2.85 for one cup. Also, I bought a flask that I took to work with me.
