A Fond Farewell
« on: March 14, 2011, 07:59:46 AM »
Today our movers are coming to pack up our belongings to start their long voyage to the 'new world'...which means our PC is going to be in a box early this afternoon. We will have DH's netbook but it's not exactly easy to use so...

This is a goodbye of sorts, at least until we're back in the US & online again. The moving company says it will be 6-8 weeks before our belongings are delivered to our door in California so I (hopefully) will be back in a couple months...But a return to life amongst family and a return to work will most likely result in that I just won't have a lot of time to dedicate to UKY.

You have been a source of learning, growth, sanity, a sounding board and a place where I found I could be useful.

I wish you all well and hopefully I'll see y'all on the flip side.  :)

I'm so happy you are getting to go home, but sad you won't be around for a while.  I'm sure I can speak for a lot of us here, Things just won't quite be the same without you here.
Thank you for all your help, and advice.  You're so so helpful to so many of us here.  You've been such a gem.  Have a safe trip, and will miss ya!! so hurry back!.
Biggest Hugs!!
Andrea

Best of luck, Weby, for a hassle-free (well, as much as possible) move and a quick and easy readjustment to life in the US.

Oh Weby, it's a bummer that you won't be around, but it's for a fantastic reason.  I hope it all goes smoothly and good luck with everything.  You deserve it!  :)

I am actually, selfishly, quite sad that you're leaving.  But I wish you and your family all the best, and hope that everything goes smoothly for you back in Cali.  Safe travels! Xxx

I agree with historyenne...I'm sad you are leaving...maybe just because you won't be around for awhile and I know you'll be around less once you move.  Every time I see a difficult visa question, I'll be thinking to myself "WebyJ would know this".   :-\\\\

But I'm really happy for you because I know how long you've been wanting to get back to the US and you'll be happier.

I feel like I've known you forever...as we've both been through a lot and majorly transformed since I first "met" you.  Oh no...now I'm getting all sappy and stuff.

Good luck on your move and I hope you guys get settled in quickly!

Good luck Weby - hope the move & transition & everything goes as smoothly as it can for you!

WebyJ,

It's so very hard to see you go.
Your such a special friend.
A friend who is moving far away
With a new life to begin.

Thanks for always being there
In the good times and the bad.
Thanks for being so concerned
With the problems that we've had.

I really admire the strength you have,
And the courage you have shown
In facing all of our hardships,
And the trouble we have known.

I wish you only good things,
As a new life you begin;
And even if we're miles away,
I know we'll still be friends.

You have a safe journey back to your home in the USA...we will miss you while you are gone...I don't know you very well but you have touched my life in a big way with all of the advice you have given the many people on this board.....you hurry back y'hear?  So you take care, God bless and the Angels keep you and yours safe always!!!!!!

Oh and before I forget....Happy St. Patricks Day   [smiley=clover2.gif]

WebyJ...Enjoy your last few days here, remember why it all started here and look at how far you have come.  I wish you nothing but happiness back in Cali and I am sure there will bumps and humps but you are strong as you have come this far you can go anywhere.
You, DH and DD will be surrounded by good people and love and honestly that is what you need.
You will be a compassionate woman with your DH as you have been where he will be and it may be hard for him and you will know how to support and acknowledge those feelings. You will get to explore a whole new world together and build on it.

We will miss you around here in the meantime ;-)
Best Wishes Lovely Lady!
xx
