Hi Guys, New and trying not to loose my marbles.
« on: March 30, 2011, 09:28:58 PM »
Let me be totally honest. i think i'm losing my mind. these highs and lows are unbearable sometimes when all u want to do is be with the one you love.

i was so excited because i'm going to try for a visit visa (after i was denied entrance.. which is in the visa forums) so i'm compiling all my documentation and i can't find the refusal letter now. its one thing after the other.

it's like all i want to do is get over there an now i have to figure out how to get a hold of this document. unbelievable. i can kick myself.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I sympathize. I met my Brit while I was studying abroad and we spent three years visiting each other and trying to jump the visa hurdles. We ended up getting married in the UK this past January and it was completely worth the three years of never knowing when we'd be able to see each other next and for how long. I'm really sorry to hear about your refusal, I know how scary that is. I really hope it works out!

Welcome! Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Most of us have been through this visa stuff and are happy to offer support.  ;)
We met in Tokyo through friends when we both lived in Japan.

Last year we moved to Thailand, got our first apartment together, got jobs with the same employer (!), didn't end up killing each other, got married, and decided to move to the UK to settle down.

London, here we come!
