Temporary American food stand in Cambirdge
« on: April 13, 2011, 09:39:24 PM »
If anyone is going into Cambridge between now and May (I assume bank holiday) there is a temporary stand in the Lion Yard.  It is under the escalator across from the HMV.

They have sodas (A&W, Grape, Mountain Dew, Vanilla Coke)
Pop Tarts, cereal, Aunt Jemima, peanut butter (natural and ummmm, not natural:-) jelly, other baking stuff (the guy said on the weekends they will have a bigger stand with more stuff like cake mixes) lots of candy nerds, Hershey, Charleston Chews, Runts, Gobstoppers, cookies nutterbutters and others.  They had pretzel M&Ms.

And lots more. They have a website, but I can't remember the name possible due to sugar overload.  :)

Well I'm on my way now. Going to tear the lid off and chug it.
I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

Hot damn, I need some grape jelly in my life. I'll be there Saturday, and that's a fact.
Arrived 12 Oct 2010/Spousal Visa
Whole new world for a Southern gardener, but I'm very happy.

My husband checked it out this afternoon when he was in town and said it's mostly cake mixes and candy at the moment, but he grabbed some grape jelly for me, so he is my hero. The website is:
