Easter menu?
« on: April 17, 2011, 10:38:31 AM »
Easter dinner is a big deal with my family and this year my in laws are going to be in Dublin. Our apartment is so tiny that I didn't want to make a roast and heat the place up to a million degrees, so I've been thinking about what to have. My in laws like roast chicken, roast lamb, roast pork, roast turkey and roast ham (all served with overcooked veg and roast potatoes), so I've been trying to come up with something a little different that they'll still like. I'm very happy to have finally decided a menu! We're having:

Nigella's Coca Cola Ham done in the slow cooker
Dauphinoise Potatoes
Green Beans Almondine
Deviled Eggs
Strawberry Rhubarb Fool for dessert

Are you doing anything special for Easter??

Your menu looks wonderful.  Hope everyone enjoys it!  :)

I was hoping to go to an Easter brunch at a hotel or restaurant.  Anyone know of anything like that in the West London or Slough area? Thanks.
