This subject has been run into the ground on the forum but I just read something that blows my mind about using your US license to get one in the UK.
Without going into it again we all know
there is no reciplicate agreement with the US like there is with commonwealth countries, including Canada, and Japan and all the European countries among others.
So read this from another forum:
Passed my written test and showed them my British license and never said anything about having an nj license previously. Got an NJ license right away, no road test! Woohoo!
I must admit it did worry me that you can take the written test orally if you can't read...
Sooooo if you show the Brits your NJ license if you have one?
