Men seem to enjoy chopping things to bits with very big knives....even small things like garlic.  Why is that?!

LOL,I like to know too ;) Every Thanksgiving and Christmas, you can find my Dad chopping away in the ktichen  ;D

I like doing most, if not all of the cooking.  He is able to cook...even did some formal chef-y training at one point....but the control freak in me is just kinda funny about these things.  Besides, I find cooking the evening meal quite relaxing and theaputic.  After spending all day hanging out in meetings and answering emails at work, the act of creating something is very satisfying.

:) Thats how I feel when I make my bread.

I really hopeless in the kitchen (although I'm working on it). Jon on the other hand is quite good. Plus, he's a vegetarian whereas I'm not and the only dishes I do know how to make are meat dishes. So he cooks... all the time.

Sadly that's about to come to an end. He wants me to start learning. His greatest fear is that I won't know how to cook and end up taking our kids to McD's all the freaking time.  :P

My husband can cook and actually does a great job.  However, I usually do the cooking  (I love it) and he is kind enough to always do the dishes (which I hate even with a mixer tap) so no complaints from me!

No kidding!!!  I just need to grab my coat....  ;)

My husband is a fabulous cook and quite imaginative in the kitchen.  He's like McGyver...you give him a tomato, a piece of bread and various spices and he can make a gourmet meal for 8!!!

I like to cook too, but since I come from a huge family, I get a bit confused about "cooking for two"....I am used to cooking for 10 or more!!

When we first got married and I wasn't yet allowed to work....he came home one day and said to me.... "Honey you cook too much, too often"  That did it!!  ;)

Of course now we just share the cooking....now if we could only share the cleaning up after!  ;)

No hubby, but I do have a boyfriend who cooks - he's learned a lot from his Indian mom so he's cooked me some curries.  He is also quite capable at making a great lasagna...and I'm sure many other things.  I like the fact he wants to take care of me!  ;D
