'Of what country are you a citizen?' - dual citizenship?
« on: June 14, 2011, 10:59:51 PM »
I'm filling out form 2555-EZ, and line 11b asks me 'Of what country are you a citizen/national?' I am now a dual citizen of the USA and the UK (originally from the USA). Will it make any difference if I put 'USA and United Kingdom' as opposed to just 'USA'?

Thanks.

On US forms you are a US citizen. The US doesn't recognize, or care, that you are also a UK citizen.
