Hi all, in the process of filling out...
1) "How much are the fees for your course of study?" It goes on to say "if you will be studying at a residential independent school, this will include boarding or lodging fees." I am going for my postgrad- do I include the £3600 accommodation fee, or do I simply put the tuition amount here? The accommodation fee is NOT stated on my CAS.
2) For the next question, "have any of your course fees been paid..." I suppose this goes along with question 1, because if I have to put the accommodation fee it changes the answer to the question.
Hopefully someone has an answer for me, thanks
Just to confirm what NoseOverTail said:
1) A residential independent school is a private boarding school (for children, i.e. under 18s). As a university is not a residential independent school, you just put down your tuition amount (i.e. the amount on your CAS).
2) This question is asking about 'course fees' only, so unless you have paid any of your tuition yet, the answer to this will be no.
[Just a note to give some extra information on terminology that might be useful for you studying in the UK: 'school' in the UK means primary or secondary school (i.e. for kids aged 4-16 or 4-18) and 'college' means Further Education college (for kids aged 16-18)... so if someone in the UK asks you about 'school' or 'college', they will not be referring to university]
