I found the most incredible place today. It was a sweet shop in Cardiff, called Americandy. It was chock full of lots of treats from home, and I felt, well, like the kid in the proverbial candy shop.

They also had a lot of British stuff (I had to laugh when I saw Iron Bru flavoured drops--how's that American?), but there was more American stuff than I've seen in other places. I came home with Sour Patch Kids, Sour Patch Watermelons, Atomic Fireballs, grape Now and Later (there were about 15 flavours), Butterfinger, Reese's Pieces, and butter rum Life Savers. Hey, no pointing fingers at my sweet indulgence. I haven't had many of them in five years. There was lots of other stuff, but I am on a tight budget and had to work really, really hard to restrain myself. This shop had tons of things I hadn't even thought of in years. I can't wait to go back.
It didn't hurt that I also went to the new Krispy Kremes while I was there--ah the tastes of home!
