Hello everyone,
I have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with- I've had trouble finding answers online.
My husband and I are planning a move to London next summer for me to go to school. My husband is a Civil Engineer in the US. He works in buildings/development/waste water/ etc. In order for us to be able to move, he will have to be able to find a job in London.
From the research I have done, he will be able to work under the spousal visa because my schooling is for a year.
Does anyone know the state of Civil Engineering in London or the UK in general? He has a degree and exceptional experience, although he has not yet sat for the PE exam (you must be out of college for four years first). Are American credentials allowed in the industry? I've heard that there is an engineer shortage, but then I have also heard of engineers not being able to find work.
Any help would be appreciated.
