Greetings
« on: August 31, 2011, 08:38:24 PM »
Greetings from a newbie!

Been in lurking mode for a few months and decided to finally join the forum. So much great info and can certainly relate to the many issues, problems, concerns and emotions experienced by so many here.

I met a lovely woman over a year ago from England, fell in love and making plans for marriage and I moving there from the States in about 1-2 years time. Funny, since a child I've always dreamt of living in England - always loved the music originating from there (I'm a musician) as well as the culture. Never seemed to fit into American culture for some reason - not sure why that is. And now I met someone from England so maybe it was always in the grand plan of life!

I've gained so much knowledge from the folks here and I certainly feel the intense emotions by those separated from their SOs.

Thank you for this great forum and website!

Hello and welcome to the forum!!  :)
We stole countries with the cunning use of flags. Just sail around the world and stick a flag in. "I claim India for Britain!" They're going "You can't claim us, we live here! Five hundred million of us!" "Do you have a flag …? "What? We don't need a flag, this is our home, you bastards" "No flag, No Country, You can't have one! Those are the rules... that I just made up!...and I'm backing it up with this gun, that was lent to me from the National Rifle Association."
