London Relocation Ltd

Hello!

Has anyone heard of or used this company, London Relocation Ltd? I could not find any bad reviews; but it's possible that I did not do a through enough search. I am a bit ahead of my self; but my plan is to come at the end of March and my family is now telling me to bring my doggy at the same time. I was initially going to rent a room while I looked around for a flat. I appreciate your thoughts!

Hi, I have not used them, however I've just popped onto Craiglist London on the off chance to see if there was anything that wasn't a scam and pretty much every post is from them, which in Craigslist language is spamming. If only because of that I am not a fan.

I would stay away, especially if you can't find any reviews!

Also, I did a search for them on this forum and they posted an advert here. No replies, no other posts ever. I don't know why I get a bad feeling. But I totally invite the owner of this company to come back on and refute my sketchy feelings!

Anyway, their fee is 1 month's rent. Why put a month of rent into someone other than your landlord's hands?

We used a relo company (Sue at Relocation Solutions was amazing) and I can tell you that for us it was totally worth the one month's rent. 

We are a family of 6 and did not have a house hunting trip due to visa issues for our son.  She not only previewed he properties, she set all the appointments, drove us everywhere to see them, negotiated the rent on the one we liked, took us to set up our bank accounts, helped with school enrollment for the children, and she helped us unpack, fed us lunch and entertained the kids all day on the day our goods arrived.  For someone coming into a country and needing to get all of this done on a short time frame she was a lifesaver!

Thanks everyone! I agree with you regarding the one month's rent. I just am now at an issue where my parents would prefer me to bring my dog at the same time. I then have a short time frame to find a flat that accepts animals or keep her in a kennel for 6 weeks, which I would prefer not to do. I clearly have a bit of time to think; but certainly did not wish to get gipped.
